Catholic Liturgy Debates (Novus Ordo vs. Traditional Latin Mass)
I want to recommend this YouTube video where Timothy Gerard Aloysius Wilson gives a wonderful exposé of the Manualist theological school, as well as of Suarez, Bellarmine, etc. It is all in relation to the question of Papal Power over the Liturgy.
Some may point out that Wilson doesn't give enough context to the quotes he provides -- I think this would be an unfair assessment of what he is trying to do, as this is a YouTube video attempting to give an *overview* of the subject; not a detailed, scholarly study.
Nonetheless, Wilson is a scholar in his own right. Much like myself, he is not a professional scholar, but just loves these subjects and dives DEEP into them. I would also say that he is on a whole other level (higher) than myself in his learning and education. He is extremely well read and intelligent.
Philosophy: The Thomist Debate Over the Human Soul & Human Person (Known at Corruptionism vs. Survivalism).
This video gives a defense of Corruptionism as regards the human soul during the "interim state" between death and the bodily resurrection at the end of time.
This video gives a defense of Survivalism as regards the human soul during the "interim state" between death and the bodily resurrection at the end of time. (Which is an opposing view to the above video).
